Real Science and Other Adventures

There’s a saying, “necessity is the mother of invention”. Maybe, but curiosity is the mother of discovery. And discoveries are the food of invention, science, medicine, technology, a lot of things that make our lives better or easier.

Children are born curious. If they’re lucky that curiosity will be nurtured and they will learn to be outward thinkers – to be interested in their world and find something to fire them up from the things around them.

Real Scientists don’t sit in a classroom learning about stuff and then trying to remember it. They do stuff. They explore, imagine¬†and discover. They wonder why. This blog is dedicated to those who want to learn about their world, and maybe have an adventure or two on the way.

Real Science is exciting and it’s all around you.
